Trains running again between Ljubljana, Trieste and Udine

From 3 September, train travel between Ljubljana, Trieste and Udine is possible again, as the maintenance work on the Italian side, which started on July 8, has been completed.

On weekdays (Monday to Friday), trains no. 1824 (departure from Ljubljana at 6.00), 1825 (departure from Trieste at 9.03), 1896 (departure from Ljubljana at 18.55) and 1897 (departure from Udine at 17.55) run to Villa Opicina, where passengers transfer to another train.

On Saturdays, train no. 1824 runs between Ljubljana and Villa Opicina, where passengers transfer to another train. All other trains run on the entire route.

On Sundays, trains no. 1824, 1825 and 1896 run on the entire route. Train no. 1897 runs between Udine in Villa Opicina, where passengers transfer to a train to Ljubljana.
