As we were informed by the Italian national train operator, Trenitalia, timetables of trains no. 1824, 1825, 1896 and 1897, running between Ljubljana, Trieste and Udine have changed. The last train that ran according to the previous timetable was train no. 1824, departing from Ljubljana at 6.00 and arriving in Trieste at 8.33. From today onwards, passengers of the mentioned train and trains no. 1825, 1896 and 1897 will have to transfer to another train at Villa Opicina and continue their journey towards Trieste, Udine or Ljubljana. From November 7 until further notice, trains no. 1824, 1825, 1896 and 1897 will be running only on the route Ljubljana–Villa Opicina–Ljubljana, while connecting trains on the route Trieste– Villa Opicina–Trieste will be temporarily discontinued.
