In accordance with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, train passengers are obliged to meet the PCT (recovered-vaccinated-tested) requirement. The PCT requirement does not apply to children under 15, pupils and high-school students.

The use of a protective mask, hand disinfection and physical distancing remain mandatory for all passengers.

Visit the Park of Military History – a museum and tourist centre located in the old Pivka barracks complex, which offers visitors a unique insight into Slovenian national history as well as world history. You can also test yourself on a flight simulator with a MiG-21 aircraft or a Spitfire IX simulator and enjoy a convincing flight experience with military aircraft. The museum is only a short distance away from Pivka train station, and the path is clearly marked.

Velika Zaka is a popular one – it is located near the camp, and there are even showers at disposal. Explore the picturesque landscape of the Koroška region by combining train and bike. During summer months, trains on the Maribor-Prevalje line have more spaces for bicycles. Take a train to Vuhred railway station, and continue your trip by bike to Radlje ob Dravi, where a natural swimming pool awaits you. It boasts the flattering title of the first and only biological pool in Slovenia, meaning that the water is cleaned by microorganisms instead of chemicals. You are also invited to the unspoilt surroundings of the Drava River. To give a genuine sense of a “living railway world”, the model is equipped with a miniature signaling system and various buildings, vehicles and flashing lights.
