This does not apply if there was no ticket office at the station or stop at which you began your journey or if the ticket office was closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Validity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Youth Railcard contains information on its owner, type of annual discount, and the period of validity. The railcard is&nbsp;<strong>not transferable<\/strong>, and must be used together with a&nbsp;<strong>personal document<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Youth Railcard has a validity period of&nbsp;<strong>one year<\/strong>&nbsp;from the month of purchase, and it costs&nbsp;<strong>\u20ac10<\/strong>. If you reach 26 years of age during the validity period of your Youth railcard, it shall be issued for a period up to the month of your birthday.
