*A flat\u2011rate monthly or annual supplement for travel on higher\u2011category trains for IJPP tickets may only be purchased at a passenger ticket office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penalty fare for purchase of tickets on board trains<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you buy your ticket on board the train when the ticket office at your boarding station is open<\/strong>, a penalty fare must be paid<\/strong> in line with Passenger Tariff ST 700.01. On board the train, ticket purchases can only be made in cash<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the ticket office at the station is closed at the time of boarding<\/strong>, you can buy a train ticket on board without incurring a penalty fare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If only a supplement for a higher-type train is purchased, there is no extra charge for the purchase of the ticket on board the train.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
