Grem z vlakom mobile app<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Slovenian Railways train tickets for day trips within Slovenia can also be purchased online<\/strong><\/a> or in the Grem z vlakom mobile app. The app can be downloaded from Google Play<\/strong><\/a>, App Store<\/strong><\/a> and Huawei AppGallery<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purchase of tickets on board trains<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tickets for travel within Slovenia can be bought on board the train when the ticket office at your boarding train station is closed at the time of boarding. Otherwise, a surcharge of \u20ac5 for passengers without a ticket must be paid when purchasing a ticket on board.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On board the train, tickets can only be purchased in cash.<\/strong> If you are unable to purchase your ticket elsewhere than on board the train, we recommend that you have an amount equal to the ticket price ready to purchase your ticket. In the event when staff are unable to give you the correct amount of change, they will issue a receipt which you can exchange for cash at a train station ticket office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the passenger has a ticket for a local passenger train and is travelling on a higher-type train, he\/she can purchase the higher-type train supplement in cash or by payment cards at train station ticket offices; he\/she can also purchase it later on the train in cash \u2013 there is no extra charge for on-board purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before making any ticket purchase, please check the current timetable as well as service disruptions and rail replacement buses. These can be found in the <\/strong>timetable finder<\/strong><\/a> or in the \u2018Delays\/obstacles\u2019 tab in the Grem z vlakom mobile app (on the bottom right).<\/strong><\/p>\n
