Free train transport to Planica

During the Championships, you can take the train from any train station in Slovenia to Jesenice and back free of charge. Simply present your World Championships ticket at the ticket office or, if the ticket office at your boarding station is closed, on board the train and you will receive a free return train ticket and a voucher for free bus transport from Jesenice to Ledine (Rateče). Tickets for the FIS World Championships can also be purchased at train stations in Ljubljana, Celje, Maribor and Koper.

The voucher for free bus transport is not valid on regular bus lines between Jesenice and Rateče.

For transportation to the FIS World Championships between 22 and 26 February and between 28 February and 5 March, additional trains to Jesenice will also be available beside regular trains with additional capacities. From Jesenice to Planica, a free bus transportation by the organizer will be available to the passengers on all competition days to Ledine (Rateče), from where it is only a 15-minute walk to the venue.

Bus departures from Jesenice and Ledine are not linked to the arrivals/departures of all trains, but only to the optimal arrivals/departures of regular and additional trains, which make the most sense for visiting the daily competition programme in Planica.
