Possible strike by railway staff in Germany on 27 March and changed route of trains EN 40414/40237 and 480/60237

Please be informed that a strike on the German Federal Railway (DB) is scheduled for Monday, 27 March 2023.

If the strike is not called off, train cancellations and delays are expected on the German rail network. As all DB rail traffic will be suspended, the German Railway recommends that passengers take this into account when planning their journey.

In the event of a strike, traffic will be suspended, and the following will apply:

Tickets purchased before 23 March 2023, valid for travel on 27 and 28 March, can be used on any day from 23 March to 4 April 2023.

This applies to all types of tickets, including tickets linked to travel by a specific train.

In the event of a strike, night trains EN 40414/40237 and 480/60237 from Zagreb/Rijeka via Ljubljana to/from Stuttgart will run from Sunday to Monday (26 – 27 March) and Monday to Tuesday (27 – 28 March) only to/from Salzburg station.
