According to the announcement of Hungarian Railways, individual sections of the line to Budapest will be closed until further notice. Replacement bus services will be organized for international trains MV 246 and MV 247, which run on the Ljubljana – Budapest route and vice versa.
Hungarian Railways also informed us that due to construction works, international trains MV 246 and MV 247 will run in Hungary:
- from 1. 5. to 30. 6. 2025 only to/from Ajka station
- from 1. 7. to 13. 12. 2025 only to/from Őriszentpéter station.
Due to the above, during the above periods, transportation on the Ajka – Budapest or Őriszentpéter – Budapest routes and vice versa will be provided by replacement bus services.
For wheelchair transport availability, please call +386 1 291 33 91 at least 24 hours before your desired journey. More information on transport for persons with reduced mobility.
Bicycles and animals cannot be transported on the mentioned buses. Exceptions are guide dogs, assistance dogs, and service dogs. Delays may occur with rail replacement bus services, so please take this into account when planning your journey.
