Penalty fare for purchase of tickets on board trains
If you buy your ticket on board the train when the ticket office at your boarding station is open, a penalty fare must be paid in line with Passenger Tariff ST 700.01.
If the ticket office at the station is closed at the time of boarding, you can buy a train ticket on board without incurring a penalty fare.
