Scooters and e-scooters (electric scooters) are one of the ways to develop micro-mobility and a more sustainable mode of transport.

The carriage of scooters and e-scooters on board Slovenian Railways trains is allowed and free of charge.

However, as there is no special storage space for scooters on trains, certain recommendations and instructions apply. Scooters must be kept on board trains in such a way that they do not interfere with or obstruct the passage and safety of passengers. Passengers load the scooter by themselves, keep an eye on the scooter during transport and unload it at the final destination. For any further information or guidance, passengers should contact the train accompanying staff.

Foldable scooter/e-scooter

This type of scooters can be placed under or next to the seats (where possible) in a way that does not interfere with or obstruct the passage and safety of passengers.

Scooters must not be placed on seats or on luggage racks above seats.

Non-foldable scooter/e-scooter

If you are travelling with a non-foldable scooter, we recommend that you keep the scooter with you and sit on a folding seat (on Stadler trains, these seats are located next to bicycle spaces).

On other trains, we recommend that you keep your scooter with you and sit on one of the seats near the exit/entry doors so that you do not interfere with or obstruct the passage and safety of passengers.

Scooter should not interfere with or obstruct the passage and safety of passengers.
