Due to an extensive phase of investment construction works and the complete closure of Ljubljana station rail traffic will be heavily disrupted on 4 and 5 July 2026. No trains will arrive at or depart from the central platforms of Ljubljana station. Due to the closure, interim replacement bus services and trains waiting for connections for onward travel, longer delays are expected, which will affect the entire railway network in Slovenia.

CHANGE 1:
Trains on this line marked in the timetable search engine on 4 and 5 July will operate to/from temporary platforms at the intersection of Masarykova Street and Njegoševa Street (tracks 95, 96, 97, 98) near Ljubljana railway station.
The distance from the main station building of Ljubljana railway station (Trg Osvobodilne fronte 7) to these temporary platforms is at least a 10-minute walk (600 m).

Trains passing through Ljubljana station (4 and 5 July 2026)
For transit passengers (arriving in Ljubljana and continuing their journey via Ljubljana station towards Jesenice / Divača and vice versa), replacement transport is organised immediately after disembarking from the train at the temporary platforms (tracks 95, 96, 97, 98) and vice versa.
Seasonal trains to Koper and Rijeka (4 and 5 July 2026)
Due to the works, direct replacement bus services will be organised for these trains on 4 and 5 July according to an adjusted timetable.
