Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) informed us that due to heavy rainfall and storms in Austria, major deviations and delays in train traffic can be expected from 13/09 to 15/09/2024 inclusive.

Passengers are asked to postpone non-essential travel. Night trains on the route Beljak/Villach – Salzburg will not run until 15 September 2024.

Before starting the trip, check the current train traffic conditions in the online search engine of
Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB Scotty).

The validity of tickets for all domestic, international or night train journeys purchased until 12/09/2024, for travel in the period from 13/09 to 15/09/2024, is extended until 18/09/2024 inclusive.
