We have been informed by the Italian Railways (FS) that due to works at the Trieste (I) railway station, instead of trains EC 134 and EC 135 (Ljubljana – Trieste (I) and vice versa), a replacement bus service will be organized on the route Sežana – Villa Opicina (I) – Trieste (I) until further notice.
On the Sežana – Ljubljana route and vice versa, a Stadler SŽ class 510 will operate on these trains.
Replacement buses stop at all stations and stops where trains stop. The aforementioned buses cannot transport persons in wheelchairs. It is also not possible to transport bicycles and animals. Exceptions are guide dogs, assistance dogs and service dogs. Delays may occur with rail replacement buses, which please take into account when planning your trip.
