A picturesque display with the reconstruction of the railway station takes you back to the time of the Graz – Celje line.

The long-time station master guides you through the rich history of the Southern Railway for Styria with interesting stories, original exhibits, and numerous photographs. The Southern Railway Museum Šentjur is located right next to the Šentjur railway station.

The Southern Railway Museum Šentjur complex is divided into individual units:

  • Switch block setting (Stellwekerken)
  • Signal and track devices
  • Steam locomotive series 62 with water feeder and engine shed
  • Traffic and telegraph office, personal photo room “Captured Moments on the Graz – Celje Railway Road”, transport and handling service rooms, and the museum manager’s office in the originally restored building of the Southern Railway Museum Šentjur.

In the Vinogradnik’s learning cellar, located under the museum, you can taste wines from local winemakers.
