Experience a beautiful journey and adventure by train along the old railway line dating back to the Austro-Hungarian era. On the train, you will personally meet a local winemaker and taste the best that the Vipava Valley has to offer.

When you embark on a journey with the Wine Train, expect to be completely captivated by new views and vistas of the Vipava Valley. Most of the route is lined with vineyards bathed in beautiful, golden afternoon light with the possibility of stunning sunsets. In the town of Ajdovščina, there will be a short stop for a guided walk to the old town center. The next stop is in one of the villages, where a guided walk from the station will lead you to another local winemaker. You will be welcomed with a tasting of local wines and homemade food. An experience that no wine and train enthusiast should miss!
