According to the notification of the Hungarian Railways, due to an unexpected closure on the Hodoš (SLO) – Budapest (H) line from December 11, 2024 until further notice (probably until June 2025), a rail replacement bus service marked “Vonatpótló autóbusz” is organized on the section Ajka – Veszprém for trains MV 246 and MV 247 (Ljubljana – Budapest and vice versa).

The aforementioned buses cannot transport persons in wheelchairs. It is also not possible to transport bicycles and animals. Exceptions are guide dogs, assistance dogs and service dogs. Delays may occur with rail replacement bus service, which please take into account when planning your trip.
