In accordance with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, train passengers are obliged to meet the PCT (recovered-vaccinated-tested) requirement. The PCT requirement does not apply to children under 15, pupils and high-school students.

The use of a protective mask, hand disinfection and physical distancing remain mandatory for all passengers.

Passengers on board the train demonstrate compliance with the PCT requirement with proof of vaccination, negative test, or recovery from COVID-19.

The IZLETka flat-rate ticket

The IZLETka flat-rate ticket enables affordable travel on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in the Republic of Slovenia. The ticket allows an unlimited number of journeys in Standard Class in all types of trains operating on the Slovenian Railways network. The ticket can be upgraded to First Class by paying the price difference between the two classes on board the train.

Validity

The ticket remains valid for up to 5 days, and is limited to trips made on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The ticket is not valid on working days. However, it can be used on a public holiday following the weekend, even if there are up to two working days in between.

Price

The IZLETka flat-rate ticket costs €15.00 for adults and €7.5 for children between 6 and 12 years of age.

Family ticket price

The IZLETka flat-rate family ticket grants an unlimited number of journeys made on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Standard Class in all types of trains operating on the Slovenian Railways network. The family discount applies when a child under 12 years of age inclusive and at least one person over 12 years of age are travelling together.

The flat-rate family ticket costs €30. It remains valid for up to five days, and is limited to journeys made on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
