SŽ 713/715 is class of diesel passanger train set of Slovenske železnice.
This class was produced between 1983 and 1986. The train set consists of a motor unit, designated as 713, and a trailer, designated as 715. They run on Slovenian non-electrified lines, mainly on the Ljubljana – Novo mesto – Metlika, Sevnica – Trebnje and Ljubljana – Kamnik Graben lines.
Due to the former color scheme, the train set has acquired the original nickname »kanarček« (canary) among railway workers. More information and interesting facts can be found on Wikipedia.
This class is being replaced by new passenger multiple units (Stadler Flirt SŽ 610), which will gradually replace it in the coming years (2025).
